Welcome to Reverie Terminal's first CR meme. While the game has not yet officially opened, please use the CR meme to get to know each other and forge some plans. The game will open on May 1st with an intro log for everyone which — spoilers! — will allow for mingling, exploration, getting to know one another, and have a bit of horror sprinkled on top. Just a bit.

» Interests: i mostly talk about rp: game stuff, tag commentary, memes, shippiness, you name it. the occasional rl plurk might pop up, but not too often. as for interests!! i like sci fi and i like shipping. did i mention shipping? oh, and shipping. i also like superheroes, food, photography and my job, for all that i complain about it sometimes
» Anything else? i'm in gmt+2 (or is it +1? i never know with daylight saving) and work full time, though sometimes flexible hours, so i'm not always around. i try to boomerang network stuff, though, and get to log tags quickly enough. oh, and i like present tense brackets best of all. and i'm bad at cr memes.... oops.

» Canon: original! her canon is space-based and she grew up on a terraformed moon.
» Canonpoint: two years after a guy named brand showed up on her moon and told her that the spinal implant that saved her life back when she was younger actually gives her powers if she learns to control it and she goes with him to learn.
» Fact Cheat Sheet: here are some cliffnotes on her. tl;dr: she broke her back when she was itty, got some weird tech implants to save her life and now she's learning how to use them to make the world a better place. she's sweet and wants to help everyone, but for all her idealism, she does realise that the universe is not a kind place at the moment.
» Permissons/opt outs? n/a. her powers really aren't advanced enough for her to need one yet.
» Declare your (CR) intentions: do you need a little sister kind of character? a space daughter? a good friend? someone who'll always try to find the bright side in everything and who'll smile at you and try to cheer you up? then she's your gal. unless you actively hurt someone else in front of her or do otherwise shitty things, she'll pretty much like everyone. i'd be interested in folks who feel protective of her, but also people her age she can be a teenager with (she's 19, that still counts as teenager, right?). i'd also love to pitch her against more cynical characters.
» Fit & goals: coming from a space-background and having been in space before, she'll fit in well enough on the station as such, and she's strong-willed and idealistic enough to deal with the horror the station might have in store.

» Fact Cheat Sheet: atlantean superhero with water-based powers, very mature and responsible, prone to carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders, good leader despite not wanting to be a leader, "designated adult", recently back from a stint under deep cover pretending to be a villain that he did not enjoy At All. could use a break and a hug, but is likely not going to get either, is he? here's an actual fact sheet.

» Fit & goals: kaldur's a good fit in that he'll try to keep everyone safe, and he's a terrible fit in that he'll always put everyone else's safety above his own. but he's been in the heroeing game for a while now and he's pretty good at it. his goal will be to keep everyone alive and figure out a way back home, pls and thank you. mostly keep everyone alive.

HI TONA IT'S CHRIS. I really enjoyed Haruto's and Katarina's TDM thread. He feels really silly for just assuming she's from Earth. Cybernetic implants are really common in his world so he'd be totally cool with her spine thingamajig. (While simultaneously hiding from her the fact that he has a cybernetic brain...)

SO. kaldur'ahm seems very cute, and given that venus basically already looks like a superhero there's some room for fun stuff there, but-

please consider: venus being the Cool Older Sister for katarina, and like any Cool Older Sister has to, being a terrible influence in benign ways. (listen, she is The Devil, she's got to be a bad girl somehow??) aside from being a larger version of a shoulder devil, venus would make for good CR anyhow - she's 18 (so i guess she's a cool Younger Sister whoops) and allows for the teen stuff that she's trying to catch up on too, and she's actually super kind/sweet/caring for all the people she meets!

... BUT YES please!! kat is an only child so a cool younger sister would be amazing and they could be sweet and caring together and do teen stuff and idk maybe someone will find a discarded girly magazine somewhere or whatever and they can read it and have a laugh?? OR SOMETHING

oh my god, this sounds ideal?? i love it. we're going to have to make this happen. venus has to learn how to do hair things somehow.

also she's probably useful to have on a survival scale, since flight and durability and being strong are all good things when push comes to shove. but that's less important than hanging out and talking about Teen Thingz.

He's 21, so he's definitely out of teen range, but Hyunseok could be her similarly aged pal if you'd like. He attempts to stay mostly positive, so having someone else who is genuinely cheery around will be a pretty nice change of pace to any and all horrible things that go down here

God ok, I'd love for Jesse to be protective of Katarina. I have his cr meme comment here if you want to check it out, but essentially, Jesse is an utterly broken mess who goes into a lot of weird, cagey, even depersonalised silences, due to being held imprisoned as a slave for a number of months (amid many other horrendous things that happened to him leading up to that - namely, Walter fuCKIN WHITE); I feel like him having the focus of wanting to protect kids and young people like Katarina would help pull him out of that unhealthy silence a bit?

hey, water-based power buddies! =) neptune also has a wee history of going overboard and pretending to be a big evil power when she's not, so maybe her and kaldur could bond that way?? also she's got a real tenuous grip on her water powers at the moment so training could always be an idea too

pretending to be evil will probably not be a great bonding point for kaldur just bc... he hated every second of it and it was awful and he wishes it hadn't been necessary and he might not even talk about it ever okay great
