Welcome to Reverie Terminal's first CR meme. While the game has not yet officially opened, please use the CR meme to get to know each other and forge some plans. So... I'm super interested in this character because it challenges 9S' notions of humanity. 9S is an android created by humans, and he actually has a hatred for machines because they've been trapped in a machine war for a few hundred years. But at the same time, he's acted kindly towards machines who were nonhostile (and he's also been rude, but still nonhostile himself). It's a bit of a mixed bag how he reacts. It sounds like you want a more positive experience for Haruto when it comes to that, and 9S probably isn't going to offer that? So I dunno if you're interested in that sort of conflict or not. If not!! Just lmk.

HI VAL!

I'm only vaguely familiar with Nier from watching my boyfriend play the beginning of it, but TBH I welcome whatever kind of cr will result from putting these two together. I'm a little confused about how the Nier androids seem to separate themselves from "the machines" but they don't seem to consider themselves human either? I think that could lead to some interesting conversations about personhood and what it means to not be human but still have "humanity"/sentience.... That is, once Haruto admits to not being fully human.

Hey, it's something! But since you mentioned the android vs. machine vs. human thing; the game actually goes into those exact topics--it's got really strong philosophical themes and conflicts. So I'd LOVE to explore them in a different setting! Especially since 9S is from an earlier canon point before he knows Certain Things.

Of course 9S is going to be super stubborn. He's only known one way, after all.

9S will admit he's an android right off the bat so maybe that will make Haruto feel a little more comfortable to admit it?? AND THEN IT BACKFIRES...
