Welcome to Reverie Terminal's first CR meme. While the game has not yet officially opened, please use the CR meme to get to know each other and forge some plans. The game will open on May 1st with an intro log for everyone which — spoilers! — will allow for mingling, exploration, getting to know one another, and have a bit of horror sprinkled on top. Just a bit.

» Fact Cheat Sheet: Hajime Hinata is your fairly average Japanese high-schooler. He tends to be the voice of reason in any given situation (the straight-man character to general absurdity), and usually will keep any snide commentary to himself. He's definitely going to feel like a fish out of water around the station, considering he's pretty much the furthest thing from an astronaut one can imagine. Please help him.

Now Hajime comes from a world that's almost exactly like modern Earth (circa 2009), except most people there are obsessed with whether or not someone has talent. If you aren't born with a talent, or the top of your field, whatever that might be? Might as well be worthless. Which is totally normal, and Hajime definitely doesn't have any deep-seated issues about that.

» Permissons/opt outs? I don't want to get too far into spoiler territory, so please please please comment to my spoiler opt-out post if you intend to get into the series and want to go in without spoilers. I won't be offended, I promise! That's what the post is there for.

» Declare your (CR) intentions: Be his friend! I'd love for Hajime to get adjusted to the setting and use it to get over some of his Talent Issues(tm). One of the good things about him is that he tends to be easy to get along with, and can usually be the one to try to carry a conversation with quieter characters. Probably my favorite dynamic for him to be involved in like I mentioned above is the exasperated straight-man who's really just trying to do his best to keep up in the face of extraordinary events and people.

» Fit & goals: Hajime has some major confidence issues, and I'd love for him to get better with that. He currently doesn't have any skills or experience that would make him useful on this station, so he's going to try his best to change that. Please help this poor boy.

» Housing plans: Hajime will try to get himself a single room, but I'm definitely open to him having a roommate. If you're interested in your character sharing a room with him, let me know and we can try to work something out!

» TDM link: here's his TDM toplevel! however ->
» TDM to game canon? Most of his threads won't be game canon because I tried taking him from a different canon point before settling on this one. It's not a drastically huge change of character, but it's enough of one that some introductions would be different! So I'd prefer to start fresh.

I was LITERALLY writing up a response to your post when you replied because I loved that thread. I'm moooostly canonblind to Persona but I love Ryuji already. Especially with Hajime from this different canonpoint, I think they'll be good influences on each other!

ALSO I wanted to check, are you cool with Danganronpa spoilers or nah? Since Ryuji is definitely the kind of dude Hajime would want to talk about #spoilers with.

don't worry about spoilers, i saw how... things... turn out. mostly from the anime though, i haven't had a chance to blaze through the games. likewise, if you ever wanted to watch the p5 anime (it's airing now!) or play the game, let me know and i will avoid every spoiler like the plague.

they were really great together! ryuji is way more of a "break everything in sight" kind of guy, so someone a little bit more grounded will be great. let the phantom thieves adopt you!

I've been spoiled on a lot already, so no worries here! Mostly I just know that I'll probably never sit down and play it, but I love all the characters a lot. Please adopt him!! He'll try to rein in any potential breaking of things. Unless it's a good idea in which case have at.

i'm not familiar with danganronpa 3 but if hajime is worried about not having relevant skills then dave will be more than happy to teach him how to rap or mix some sick beats. morale when under space arrest is important!

PLEASE help him learn that space isn't so bad. He also needs adults to talk to who aren't the worst people in existence, because those are in short supply in his canon....

Also, I'd love if Apollo could teach him some sparring basics, because his concept of fighting is basically close his eyes and swing blindly so-!! That would be a great way for them to hang out.

Yes Apollo can help with all of the above!! He is going to make himself available for people who want to learn a bit of the basics, because it will at least help them feel a little bit less vulnerable and more in control (because lbr, nobody is feeling very in control right now :c)
