Welcome to Reverie Terminal's first CR meme. While the game has not yet officially opened, please use the CR meme to get to know each other and forge some plans. The game will open on May 1st with an intro log for everyone which — spoilers! — will allow for mingling, exploration, getting to know one another, and have a bit of horror sprinkled on top. Just a bit.

» Declare your (CR) intentions: Steve is going to be all about keeping people safe and getting them home. I'd love for him to meet more people who feel that way, but I would also love some contrasting CR with people whose values might differ from his. I'm definitely up for trying anything and seeing what has chemistry.
» Fit & goals: He'll be a bit out of his depth in this situation and I'd like to play with that. He's used to having a clearer mission than what he'll have here and he's going to have to figure out what his mission is other than the short term goal of keeping others safe. Secondary goal: grow out beard.

kaldur's main goal is keeping people safe, too, and he'll be very happy there are others around who share that goal - and who're more naturally suited to being a leader than he is.

Well Steve is honestly not hard to make friends with, so bring it on! He will do his best to be a positive influence always.

Having just got back from Infinity War, I am dying for some CR with Steve. Despite being the literal devil, Venus is incredibly sweet, and she's all about protecting people so there shouldn't be too much conflict there. However, she's also much more... well, devilish than Steve, so there's still some room for conflicting values on things like self-restraint/moral right and wrong!

also i'm so glad you're growing out his beard, i wasn't convinced until i was in the theater and then it was like Oh. Oh.

Aw that sounds interesting! I would love to play with that dynamic. I always like friendly characters who are traditionally "evil" creatures. :>

So you mentioned contrasting CR with people whose values might differ from his ;D

HI. So, Jesse here will be all about wanting to help all the innocent people and kids dictate their own freedom rather than being prisoner to a creepy ass ship orbiting a creepy ass planet. He is also super extremely horrifically traumatised by his point in canon, so he's more or less an empty shell of a person who has zero interest in death and suffering, but is also pretty ruthless and entirely disinterested in being held prisoner on a ship, after spending several months as an imprisoned slave in horrendous circumstances. He currently is in this strange sort of almost depersonalised state of shock where all he can focus on is, "I'm finally free from those fucks", but that will shift once his shock kind of calcifies into him being able to process the situation more.

Jesse is basically an anti-villain, so he's the polar opposite to Steve in many ways... but he's the kind of human tragedy that was once a well-meaning degenerate with a tarnished heart of gold that's now... just a broken mess. I FEEL LIKE I'M RAMBLING AND NOT CONTRIBUTING MUCH HERE IN THE FORM OF "THIS IS THE KIND OF CR I'D LOVE TO HAVE" but basically I would love Jesse and Steve to have to work together on a united front in terms of protecting innocent people and kids, while having wildly different moral compasses on many fronts. Jesse here is the kind of chaotic neutral character where he dislikes being around the bad guys, but also hates being held back by the good guys, so I feel like there'd be lots of potential for interesting friction between Jesse and Steve!

Ahh I never finished Breaking Bad, but I do really adore Jesse as a character. Definitely up for this! I could see them being really interesting and Steve might even recognize some of those symptoms in Jesse if you're down for that. He did recently get his best friend back from the brink of some highly dehumanizing brainwashing, so I could see him picking up on that if you're interested in exploring it.

I'm so here for these two teaming up and at times possibly butting heads on how to handle a situation, although I think, for the most part, they're on the same page.
