Hello!! My name's Kerry and I'm bringing you the lovely Vanessa Ives from Penny Dreadful.


Vanessa is a witch that has been hunted by both Lucifer and Dracula, though the second of that she doesn't yet know. Her magic is mostly unknown to her but she possesses the ability to divine past and future events (though only a characters past in reverie, which I have a permissions post for).

Vanessa's going to be waking up near the crew quarters on deck 6 and may be wildly out of it (Victorians in space lets go). I'm very excited to get started on this. If you want to plot anything I'm on skitties or skittys#2174 (disco).

Without going too far into her canon (because magical realism makes things convoluted as shit SURPRISE) the basic part is: Venus is a Bad Girl who let the devil into her heart because she was angry at a world that hurt kind people, and now she's the devil too. Like, "the one that rebelled against God" the devil.

So basically, what I'm getting at is that Vanessa's powers might be perfectly suited for interesting CR here. C:

oh gosh is vanessa knows that it might sound a little familiar. she accidentally let the devil into her life too (though without the rest of that story)
