Hello Reverie! This is Kerry ( player of Vanessa Ives ) bringing in River Song from Doctor Who.

River is a time travelling archaeologist from the 52nd century who is a little bit of a genetic mess and a very complicated story. She ended up marrying the person that she was born to kill, as you do, and may have broken time once or twice. She's a complicated time event.

She also has some pretty weird abilities given her genetic weirdness. River is part-human and part-Time Lord and whilst this won't really affect anyone for the majority I have a permissions post for the ones that will. River tries to be a good person, she's had a lot of good and bad in life but wants to do the right thing. She's friendly, generally easy to talk to and willing to flirt. River's coming in from 705 The Angels Take Manhattan and it here to (fail to) rescue you all.

Dear Reverie Operators,

Welcome to August’s ACTIVITY CHECK. As a reminder, activity checks can be passed with the following:

» 200 points per character. The number of threads or type of comment does not matter, as points are attributed to each. IC inboxes threads can be used. However, while TDM threads can be used for bonus AC, they can't be used for standard AC.

Activity points are broken up as follows:

» network comment = 10 points,
» log comment = 15 points,
» open network post = 20 points,
» open log = 20 points
» open top level on an event log = 20 points

Please keep the following in mind:

Threads used to pass standard AC cannot be used for bonus AC, and vice versa.
You can request a strike before or during the AC period by contacting the mod team. Players cannot take two strikes in a row, and cannot take a strike for the AC period following a hiatus. You can only hiatus if you have passed the previous AC check.
The game runs on UTC. This means we also look at timestamps for AC purposes in UTC format. Make sure that all your proofs are from before midnight, UTC of the last day of the month.
Characters accepted this month do not need to submit proofs, but they do need to check in.
Characters currently on hiatus do not need to check in.

Please reply to this check-in before the end of Friday, September 7 with the below form. If you do not fill out this check-in before that date, your character(s) will be swept from the game.

Hello Reverie! My name is Jenni and I'm brand new to this game. I will be bringing this seemingly(?) small child who's secretly a grandpa.

This is Edgar Portsnell from old ass shojo manga called The Poe Clan. Like mentioned above he has appearance of a 14 year old boy but he's actually around 200 years! How come? Well, you see he's also a vampire. How fun! Overall he's pretty romantic character with tendencies to lean towards the melancholy (think of a mashup between Twilight and Interview With a Vampire.) He is extremely interested in humans, especially those who differ from norms in a way or another. His other hobbies involves roses, philosophy, pulling pranks. :D

If someone has a secret stash of roses plz tell him because those are the only things he can feed from. Other than blood, of course. He's pretty "safe" for a vampire but well.. even he gets hungry? For that and other power-related things please take a look at this permission post!! Also feel free to add me on Plurk
