Reverie

 HI guys. due to the enabling of a party who will remain nameless, I'm here with a first character. My name is Corie, and I'm bringing with me Bodhi Rook from the 2016 film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, aka that one that's a sequel to the prequels and a prequel to the original trilogy but isn't one of the numbered films of the saga - uh yeah.


Bodhi is a defector from the Empire, a cargo pilot who was to deliver a message to the Rebellion about the Death Star and winds up a part of a rag-tag crew that steals the plans from an Imperial base. In a nutshell, Bodhi is anxious and brave and has been through A Lot - he is a little traumatized because of it all. He's here from the end of the movie, moments before his death. Basically, he really needs a break.

Ca here bringing you a second character from The Expanse that trendy Scifi shit. Basically Miller is a grumpy cop from Ceres in the Asteroid Belt. Who then got fired for getting too obsessed with a case about a missing girl... that ended up being a Solar System-wide conspiracy so??? A stopped clock is right blah blah blah.

Also HE HATES SPACE. And he's a hardcore optimist. Obviously

Hi everyone! My name is Sue and I’m bringing in Arid from The Fall, an indie series of AI-centered puzzle/action games. Arid is an AI originally programmed to operate in an armored combat suit, where she comes online to protect the pilot if he’s incapacitated. Think Jarvis from Iron Man if he only came online during critical emergencies. Unfortunately for Arid, what started as a desperate attempt to save her pilot’s life has spiraled into two games worth of personal suffering, trauma, and moral degradation. Hey, it happens!

Arid will be arriving with her “body” (the aforementioned combat suit) broken into three pieces and will be needing some help putting herself together again (though it probably won’t require all the king’s horses and all the king’s men). Afterward, she’ll be staying near the Crew Quarters on Deck 3. She also decided to stop being a raging asshole all of 5 seconds before arriving in the game, so uh. Sorry about that. She’s trying.

Speaking of which, if you aren’t worried about spoilers, I would really appreciate you checking out Arid’s permissions, as her canon deals with some very heavy subject matter and Arid herself is almost always at the epicenter. If you’d like me to avoid mentioning anything in particular or to opt out of threading with Arid entirely, please feel free to leave a screened comment there. If you are worried about spoilers, you should also probably leave a screened comment (without reading any of the post) and opt out of threading with Arid, as her canonpoint is smack dab in the middle of the second game.
