Hi, and thank you for coming to us with your concern! The reason for the switch was and is that this new format makes checking bonus AC much easier for us. In particular the division between types of submission (network, log, top level), the comment total for each type of submission and the subsequent point total per type of submission and then overall help us a lot, while the format of the table keeps it neat.

We're not overly attached to the code as such, but we are very attached to the format it gives us. If you have ideas how to adapt the code in a way that makes it easier on players while still giving us the same output in terms of format, we would be happy to incorporate that. An alternative for players may also be using the spreadsheet that wingstosee created (now linked on the bonus AC page), which generates the code for you as far as we understand it.
