Hey there! As someone mostly familiar with Aizawa and all related erasure hijinks, here's how this is going to work:
Aizawa will be able to interrupt character transformations, providing you have player permission to do so! However, this will not cancel out however far a character has gotten, and (unless the player wishes to "interrupt" things there) it would resume as expected when Aizawa's eyes got too dry.
Corrupted sections of the station will be teased at in "flashes" in the first part of the event, and explicitly made clear in the second part.
During the first part of the event, Aizawa can (mostly) cancel these flashes out, provided he notices and identifies them in time!
During the second part, Erasure will not immediately cancel corrupted areas out, as they will have structurally changed by that point. However, he can successfully prevent spreading/further changes, and - if he is willing to work on one area at a time - he will be able to cancel out the corrupting influence, leading the area to gradually return to normal. This will be explained in more detail in Part 2's writeup!
