Hey there! More detail on this will be given in writeup two, but to answer your questions:
The station's "corruption" will be largely physical in nature - things like hallways becoming organic, extra corridors appearing where there shouldn't be, and even places becoming dangerous for regular human survival. Essentially, the devil(s) will be making the place resemble Hell more closely, Event Horizon-style.
The method of resolution will primarily be action-based and contingent on OOC (or potentially IC) agreement between players. For areas corrupted by player characters, any OOCly agreed-on method can work - from coming to a mutual agreement, to spiritually overcoming the corruption, to incapacitating/killing the responsible character.
A method of stopping/reverting corruption - and fighting the devils, if necessary - will be made available to anyone who rebuked the devil, ensuring that all players will have the power to do so.
Unfortunately, this probably isn't going to concern the mystery of the station. I know absolutely nothing about the metaplot (or at least nothing more than anyone else), so I tried to keep the event relatively self-contained.
