Marina's a (former) military engineer! Splatoon's tech is different and doesn't involve space stations, but she knows how this stuff works in a general sense. I do know Star Wars involves space, so even just having him help out in that sense would be good to give Marina even more bearings.

Splatoon is so weird, it's very Nintendo but then you look at the backstory and it's so weirdly dark.
