For those characters ICly against this!

So Mako is not going to be Down with this. Her view is basically going to be that just because some automated system (or someone?) sent them a list with a bunch of leadership positions doesn't mean they need to scramble to fill those positions. She's going to be worried that someone unqualified (or worse, someone who's actively a bad person) will get nominated or voted in just because they're charismatic enough to charm people, so she's going to be p vocal about not holding a bunch of votes until much later, if at all.

Her suggestion will probably be that they arrange volunteer teams, like one for engineering, one for r&d, whatever, and avoid filling spots that are obviously positions of authority (like governor or a security team) considering none of them actually know each other yet. If anyone else is in that boat, hmu! Maybe they can try to make a good case for it!
